OPIC Managing Director - Anaklia Port poject is very important for Georgia

Managing Director of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), Kenneth Angel said on Monday that the Anaklia Drainage Port poject is very important for Georgia.

The construction of the Anaklia Drainage Port started on December 20, 2017. The opening of the first phase of the Port is scheduled by 2021.

“We are investing in different countries around the world, we are in Georgia almost 20 years and we are involved in various projects, including infrastructural projects. as for the construction of the Anaklia port, this project is very important for Georgia, OPIC is currently studying the potential investing in this project,” - Kenneth Angel told the Accent.
