Georgia has new ambassadors in Israel, China, Kuwait and Jordan. More specifically, according to the information of the government administration, Zaza Kandelaki, who was previously the ambassador of Georgia to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, was appointed as the ambassador to the State of Israel. He replaced Lasha Zhvania in this position.
Noshrevan Lomtatidze will be the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to the State of Kuwait. According to the government administration, from June 2021 until now, he worked as the director of the Department of International Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. He will replace Konstantine Zghenti on the said post.
As for the newly appointed ambassador to China, he is Paata Kalandadze. Kalandadze will replace Archil Kalandia in this position. Before being appointed as the ambassador to the People's Republic of China, Paata Kalandadze was the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Georgia to the United Arab Emirates.
Archil Dzuliashvili will be the ambassador of Georgia to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He replaced Zaza Kandelaki on this post. Archil Dzuliashvili held the position of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of India.
According to the government administration, Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili met the newly appointed ambassadors face to face today.
