Once again we honor the memory of millions of innocent people who became the victims of unheard cruelty, we confirm special respect for those who miraculously survived, - Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili says in his Facebook statement.

According to the head of the government, we must stand up against all expressions of hatred and intolerance.

"Today we remember the Holocaust - the greatest tragedy in human history. Once again we honor the memory of millions of innocent people who became the victims of unheard cruelty, we confirm special respect for those who miraculously survived.

The experience of the Holocaust will constantly remind us of the responsibility of the world community, of any government, of each of us, to stand up against all expressions of hatred and intolerance, to build a world of peace, mutual understanding and compassion together," the Prime Minister said.
