Ambassador of Georgia to the U.S. David Bakradze spoke on Wednesday about the importance of the investment made by the U.S. Corporation Trammo in Batumi port.

“America is known as the land of opportunity, so there are a lot of opportunities we need to develop. In my opinion, one of the most important things in our bilateral relationship is the development of economic and trade dynamics,” Ambassador Bakradze told TV Imedi.

As he added, the American side’s interest has been increased in this regard this year.

“Namely, the U.S. has made one of the major investments in two directions and both were ports. I mean Poti port and Batumi port. U.S. Corporation Trammo has invested up to 30 million dollars in Batumi port,” Bakradze said.
