The so-called Supreme Court of the occupied Donetsk region has sentenced a Georgian fighter in Ukraine, Nadim Khmaladze, to 14 years in a high-security colony in absentia.

The information is being reported by Russian media, citing the Russian General Prosecutor's Office.

According to the agency’s claims, Khmaladze participated in combat operations as part of various armed formations in Ukraine, including in the city of Irpin, the town of Hostomel in the Bucha district, and the Bucha region, against representatives of the so-called security forces of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Russian Armed Forces.

They also claim that, according to the investigation, Khmaladze, "as a mercenary fighter, received a payment of 745,000 Russian rules."
