The functions of the Information Center on NATO and the European Union will be carried out by the European Integration Department of the Central Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, - reads a statement of the Director of the Information Center on NATO and the European Union, Tamara Tsuleiskiri, which was disseminated by the Information Center on NATO and the European Union.

"I would like to respond to speculations regarding the LEPL of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs "Information Center on NATO and the European Union".

The public is already aware that a complex reform is being implemented in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Structural changes concern both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the legal entities of public law within its system.

In accordance with the new structure of the Ministry, the functions of the Information Center on NATO and the European Union will be carried out by the European Integration Department of the Central Office of the Ministry. Accordingly, raising the knowledge and awareness of the population about Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration, already in accordance with the Ministry's regulations, has become an integral and inseparable part of the entire structure's activities and its main tasks.

In addition, it is noteworthy that the reorganization process is being carried out completely transparently and each employee is provided with information about the ongoing changes.

Accordingly, the widespread speculation regarding the reform of the Foreign Ministry aims to destroy and discredit the process, which once again demonstrates the necessity of the ongoing reform," Tsuleiskiri noted.
