Petro Poroshenko and I used to have a common friend - Mikheil Saakashvili, - Belarusian President Aleksander Lukashenko said in an interview with Anadolu, Turkish news agency.

The Belarusian President was asked about which candidate he supported in Ukraine's presidential elections.

"I will not start making analysis and comparing two candidates with each other. I know one of them very well and I have seen the other one only in movies - I do not know him as a politician. But I will tell you one thing from my life experience: Petro Poroshenko and I used to have a common friend - Mikheil Saakashvili. When he was the president of Georgia, he changed the constitution before holding elections and then he did some funny things, as a result of which, he had to escape from the country. Petro Poroshenko should do his best to gain people’s support”, Lukashenko said.
