The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has postponed the planned enforcement of the court ruling in Nikanor Melia’s case, MIA said in a statement.

“The Ministry of Internal Affairs has temporarily postponed the planned enforcement of the court ruling in Nikanor Melia’s case in connection with the Prime Minister’s resignation,” the statement said.

Giorgi Gakharia resigned today at a special briefing in the government administration.
