Ambassador Fatma Ceren Yazgan: "Turkish Government Will Support Georgia's Prime Minister's Initiative on Medicines"

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said on Monday that the government is going to start importing high-quality medicines from Turkey.

"We are going to open the Turkish market to import high quality medicines from Turkey, which, according to our forecast, will reduce the prices of medicines in Georgia." The PM said.

When asked about Garibashvili's initiative, Turkey's Ambassador to Georgia, Fatma Ceren Yazgan told the Accent:

"Of course, this initiative will have the support from the Turkish government,"

"This is an issue, which we have talked about before," she added.
