Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met the Founder and Executive Director of FTX Crypto Derivatives Exchange, Sam Bankman-Fried within the framework of the Munich Security Conference (MSC).

The sides considered future cooperation prospects and Georgia’s business and investment climate that offers favorable environment for the expansion of cryptocurrency derivates and stock exchange activities.

Irakli Garibashvili remarked that the Georgian government welcomes the interest of investors and is ready to support carrying out of direct investments in the country.

On January 31, Crypto juggernaut FTX Trading Ltd. said it raised $400 million as part of its latest funding round, which now values the company at $32 billion.
