Former Chief of the General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces, MP of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party, Vladimer Chachibaia has said that "Georgia's Defense Forces will respond appropriately to the aggressor in case of any aggression."

"Here it was said whether Georgia is going to resist in case of full-scale aggression. I want to assure you that today Georgia has one of the best defense forces, brave soldiers who will respond appropriately to any aggressor in case of any aggression. As for peace and stability in the country, it is the supreme responsibility of our government, which I think, is successfully fulfilling by the government," Chachibaia said at the plenary session of Parliament.
