Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has said on Thursday that Georgia has one of the best business climates.
"In the context of Economic Freedom, Ease of Doing Business and many other ratings Georgian ranks in the top ten and twenty. We have four free industrial and economic zones in Georgia. This is a rare opportunity for foreign companies to come, create enterprises and invest in Azerbaijan, Georgia, and we want to connect this with renewable energy. Georgia is rich in hydroelectric resources. We have developed a strategy where we intend to invest heavily in renewable energy, solar, wind, etc. We want to use this cheap energy and strategic location of our country. All this will contribute to doing business and will be profitable for investors," Gharibashvili said at a discussion "how the Middle Corridor of Eurasia has turned from a path to a highway” held within the framework of the World Economic Forum 2023 in Davos.
