
Georgia's PM Meets Political Director of the Prime Minister of Hungary

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has met Political Director of the Prime Minister of Hungary, Balázs Orbán,
Meeting held within the Government Administration was focused on the discussion of major directions of cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Georgian PM's office, current, profoundly friendly relations of Hungary and Georgia have been highlighted.
"Irakli Garibashvili and Balázs Orbán spoke about the prospects of deepening cooperation between Georgia and Hungary towards economy and energy. With an aim of intensifying cooperation, a meeting of the respective line ministries have been planned between the countries.
Discussion also touched upon the significant progress achieved by Georgia in its journey towards EU integration. As the Head of Government of Georgia noted, an analytical report published by the European Commission on the alignment of the Georgian legislation with the EU Acquis has evidenced that the country deserves a status of the EU Accession Candidate Country. Balázs Orbán assured the Prime Minister of Georgia of support from Hungary on its quest to EU integration.
Meeting held within the Government Administration was attended by Dóra Szűcs, Head of Cabinet for the Political Director of the Prime Minister of Hungary; Márton Ugrósdy, Deputy State Secretary of Hungary; Revaz Javelidze, Head of Government Administration of Georgia," the Georgian PM's office.
