Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US envoy Keith Kellogg will not hold a joint news conference at the conclusion of their meeting in Kyiv, at the request of the American side, an aide to Zelensky told CNN.

Journalists had gathered expecting press availability following the talks which are ongoing as of now.

Kellogg is meeting Zelensky in Kyiv Thursday, a day after the long-fraught relationship ripped apart publicly between Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart, questioning diplomatic efforts toward peace talks.
