Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has said that the main challenge and problem of 2022 for the whole world was the war in Ukraine.
As he noted during his speech at the "Ambassadors' Conference 2022", Russia's unjustified military aggression turned the world agenda upside down.
"While other nations’ embassies were fleeing Kyiv, our embassy fulfilled its duty until the last minute. I would like to thank our embassy and our ambassador to Ukraine, each employee. [...] The continued conflict threatens not only Ukraine, but the entire security architecture of Europe, our region. It is necessary to end this conflict, this war in time, this is our wish. I want to wish Ukrainian friends and Ukrainian people a quick end to this war. We reaffirm our support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine and their sovereignty. I would like to note that we have done our best and are doing our best to help our Ukrainian friends and people. Since the beginning of the war, we have supported Ukraine loudly on practically all platforms, we have joined more than 400 resolutions and statements, we have expressed our support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in all formats," Gharibashvili said.
