Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev spoke on Thursday about the relations with Armenia at a discussion "how the Middle Corridor of Eurasia has turned from a path to a highway” held within the framework of the World Economic Forum 2023 in Davos.

"I highly appreciate the efforts of my friend Irakli Garibashvili, who held meetings with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Our proposal was that leaders meet in Georgia, because historically leaders meet in Georgia, but Armenia is not ready for that. This is one of the potential risks, because if all three countries of the South Caucasus unite their efforts, in terms of energy, transport, security, stability, border delimitation, the region will be safer," Aliyev said.
