U.S. Ambassador to Georgia, Kelly Degnan has responded to the narrative about dragging Georgia into Russia's war against Ukraine and sais that this is from FSB disinformation book.

"I want to respond serious narrative, that seems to continue, this is from FSB disinformation book. The U.S. is not trying to drag Georgia into Russia's war against Ukraine. The Unted States is doing everything we can to stop this war as soon as possible. It is Putin who launched this agrresive war against Ukraine and this is Putin who can stop this war. During last 30 years The US, Europe, friends of Georga have done everything we can to help Georgia along its path to Euroatlantic integration. We will continue to do that. It is really important to Georgia to remember that it is Russia, who occupies 20% of country's territory, it is Russia , who is trying to destroy the Georgian language, who insulted the churches, which it used as animal shelters. When it comes to Russia or any kind of relationship with them, it is enough to get close to the administrative border and look at what is happening there. Georgia's friends are in Europe, Georgia's friends are in the US, and that is the way to peace, stability and success", Ambassador Degnan said.
